The company offer services in security risk assessment; vulnerability assessment; security awareness training; and security strategy development in the areas of protective security, trusted insider threat mitigation, and security culture. Your Business Security recently assisted one of its larger clients with managing security risks by redesigning and integrating their security risk assessment methodology with their enterprise risk management policy. Then using this methodology, Your Business Security conducted security risk assessments on key infrastructure, facilities, and corporate events. This enabled security recommendations which were commensurate to the risk and in line with the client’s overarching risk appetite and tolerance levels.

Based on new Defence contracting requirements, Your Business Security has devised an online kit to provide SMEs with templates and tools to assist them with managing their security risks and preparing for Defence or Government contracts. “We wanted to offer tailored services for larger companies but also options to help smaller businesses,” adds Kennedy.

With an aim to be a leader in strategic security planning, development of strong security culture, and mitigating the risk of trusted insider threats, the company has also launched an online security awareness training course. The course includes key modules on recognizing red flags around trusted insider threats, understanding cybersecurity threats and, protecting information. The course can be tailored to include business policies and applicable legislation depending on the jurisdiction of our client. “We see security awareness training as a key product which supports the development of strong security culture and mitigating the risk of trusted insider threats,” explains Kennedy. In addition, the company will increase strategic partnerships and introduce broader services in the compliance space to drive expansion and meet client’s needs.
