Their requirement was to competently validate employment contracts and access rights whenever needed irrespective of the HR department’s availability. Access rights could not be traced as all the information was contained in paper files and different email archives. United Identity proved to be the ideal choice as it manages all user and employment data along with access rights of internal and external identities. United Identity’s automated access rights management incorporating an HR system, user directory, email and network drives allow the easy and quick creation of employment contracts with the arrival of every new employee. Subsequently, access rights are immediately created for the employee to start working, alongside the automatic transfer of employment data to HR system for registration.

For the road ahead, Backman has an interesting blueprint to provide holistic security management services in the identity and access management landscape.
