FREMONT, CA: The Keyholding Company, a tech-enabled mobile security service provider, has partnered with Keynetics, a disruptive electronic key safe supplier, to disrupt traditional keyholding, alarm response, and access services by eliminating the need for external keyholders, saving clients thousands of dollars and dramatically improving response times.
Charlie Gordon Lennox, CEO of The Keyholding Company, sees the alliance as a critical step toward more intelligent and client-centric mobile security services. “Keynetics are a leading supplier in the industry and boast some of the best hardware on the market. The new service is part of The Keyholding Company’s Smart Access service, which includes several smart lock solutions for businesses that use cloud-connected devices to simplify mobile security and access management. To store keys on-site and at the moment of need, the cooperation uses Keynetics’ SentriKey lockbox, the UK’s only key safe licensed for use in commercial properties. This gear is integrated with the technology employed by The Keyholding Company’s statewide network of response officers.
When an alarm is triggered due to the partnership’s integration, the best-positioned response officer receives alarm response job information and a one-time access code for the SentriKey key safe at the property via their mobile app. This allows the responder to go straight to the alarm activation without gathering keys from a key vault, significantly reducing alarm response times.
Physical keys are retained on-site within the SentriKey lockbox, eliminating the need for additional key holders. According to the alliance, businesses could save up to 93 percent on keyholding and third-party access service costs by deploying this new integrated offering.
This new addition to the Smart Access system, in addition to reducing response times and lowering costs, also provides:
Remote Access: The Keyholding Company’s Smart Security Platform streamlines third-party and contractor access by allowing complete remote access management.
Lower Carbon: Reduces carbon emissions by reducing the number of trips required to collect keys.
Easy Installation: It is easy to install and does not need any hardwiring.
Keynetics’ LPS 1175 accredited SentriKey hardware is used, which is a burglary resistance specification that includes rigorous attack tests using a variety of weapons ranging from power tools to hacksaws.
Stuart Wheeler, Managing Director of Keynetics, is also optimistic about the relationship and the prospects it presents. “We are thrilled to be joining forces with The Keyholding Company who are renowned for being at the forefront of developing smarter, tech-led security solutions. Our highly accredited SentriKey lockbox combined with their expert mobile security services has the power to become a real game-changer for the industry,” he said.
