Subex has announced a collaboration with Telefonica to offer the new version of ROC Fraud Management.
FREMONT, CA: Subex, the Digital Trust leader, has announced a collaboration with Telefonica, one of the world's largest providers of mobile networks, to offer the new version of ROC Fraud Management. As part of the commitment, Subex's ROC Fraud Management will be deployed by the operator to every operator in Telefonica's Hispam unit: Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Colombia.
Telefonica is widely regarded as one of the most creative businesses on the digital front by consistently supplying its consumers with trusted and safe new-age products. As a torchbearer in the battle against fraud, Telefonica was willing to find the right partner to allow them to switch from fraud detection and management to a progressive approach to fraud prevention.
Telefonica will utilize the Big Data Hadoop architecture of the solution through ROC Fraud Management to minimize fraud detection time, enhance scalability, and simplify integration with Telefonica's local data lakes. Due to its open-source functionalities and low hardware footprint, the solution will also allow Telefonica to decrease the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Finally, Telefonica will leverage ROC Fraud Management's AI/ML and Signaling Intelligence assets to identify and prevent traditional and new-age fraud through voice, data, and digital services.
