ISARA Advance improves cryptographic agility, reduces cryptographic risk, and ensures that businesses are well-prepared for upgrades, whether as part of a large-scale generational migration or merely to minimize risks in the short term.
FREMONT, CA: Cryptography can be found in today’s businesses and government agencies. However, because it is so firmly ingrained, it is frequently missed, creating vulnerabilities and risks. ISARA, one of the world’s leading providers of quantum-safe security solutions, recently announced the ISARA Advance Crypto Agility Suite release. This first-of-its-kind enterprise solution enables organizations to identify their cryptographic blind spots and prepares them to respond to the looming threat of encryption-breaking quantum computers.
The foundation of identification, confidentiality, authentication, and verification is cryptography, which safeguards data in motion. Organizations’ cryptography must be visible, managed, and improved without causing business disruption to safeguard enterprises today, keep them secure tomorrow, and comply with more demanding requirements and audits.

The basis of cryptographic agility and risk management is revealing what hides within an organization’s information security infrastructure. The difficulty of developing and maintaining cryptographic systems has resulted in a massive information security black hole with significant ramifications. Upgrades are notoriously difficult, expensive, time-consuming, and ineffectual, and they are made considerably more difficult when cryptographic assets are unexplored or poorly understood.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE, part of the United States Department of Homeland Security) issued a document outlining migration recommendations: Migration to Post-Quantum Cryptography.
ISARA Advance: Cryptographic Management from a Single Pane of Glass
“Cryptography is a key element of enterprise security and prioritizing cryptographic management is a critical success factor,” said Alan Panezic, Chief Product Officer, ISARA. “We created ISARA Advance to enable the discovery, management, and remediation of cryptographic infrastructure from a central dashboard, to help organizations account for cryptography, save time, and reduce upgrade disruptions.”
ISARA Advance improves cryptographic agility, reduces cryptographic risk, and ensures that businesses are well-prepared for upgrades, whether as part of a large-scale generational migration or merely to minimize risks in the short term. ISARA Advance connects with and ingests data from existing Network and End-point Detection and Response (NDR & EDR) systems, resulting in a beautiful dashboard that allows clients to observe and control their cryptography. It includes all of the tools needed to manage cryptography and the ability to change them quickly and cost-effectively as new risks surface.
“Our customers were clear about not wanting to implement yet another network probe or agent, so our design was deliberate to utilize already-deployed solutions to pull the data required to build our management control from a single pane of glass,” said Scott Totzke, CEO, and co-founder, ISARA. “ISARA Advance brings clarity to a complex domain by discovering and cataloging cryptographic assets and generating a list of prioritized actions.”
