DNSFilter experienced a year of continuous growth from expanding its team, customers and celebrating its fifth year of business.
FREMONT, CA: DNSFilter, a major AI-driven start-up offer businesses with DNS authentication, is heading into 2021 prepared to take on business-impacting cybersecurity challenges. DNSFilter celebrated numerous victories and business extensions amid the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on 2020.
Team and User Growth Despite Uncertainty
DNSFilter conducted its first official board meeting early in 2020 and flew to RSA in San Francisco just a month later, addressing clients face-to-face only before San Francisco came into a state of emergency. Such trips kickstarted the massive growth of the team. DNSFilter uses expanded by 1,700 percent at the end of the year as the team introduced several new clients to the platform.
DNSFilter was already 90 percent remote and started to expand its team through COVID-19, as several industries struggled with switching to remote work. They also wanted to share with the world their work-from-home approach. Users could add content filtering to their work-from-home set up for three months without being fined in the thick of lockout measures. The team at DNSFilter nearly tripled in size, with 35 employees finishing the year.
"2020 proved to be a year of tremendous growth for us," said Ken Carnesi, DNSFilter CEO and Co-Founder. "The fact that the majority of our company was already remote meant we didn't need to change the way we work, like many of our peers did. Instead, we could focus on our solution and how it could help users, particularly during the pandemic. We've been able to attract top talent during the pandemic, allowing us to service more customers and expand our user base. I'm extremely proud of the team that we have and look forward to what we will accomplish in this new decade ahead."
