An email phishing attack aims to trick the receiver into opening a fake communication and following the instructions inside, such as providing credit card information. Cisco believes the goal is to steal login credentials and credit card numbers from victims' computers

The following types of cyber security threats should be thoroughly understood by cyber security professionals.
Malware
Viruses, worms, spyware, ransomware, and other malicious software are examples of malware. Malware is activated by clicking on links or attachments that contain malicious code, which in turn installs dangerous software on the computer. Cisco reports that once the malware is activated, it can:
• (Ransomware) prevents access to key network components
• Adding malicious software to your computer
• Obtaining information from the hard drive secretly (spyware)
• The system becomes inoperable when individual parts are damaged
Emotet
In a report published by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Emotet is described as "an advanced, modular banking Trojan designed primarily to download and drop other banking Trojans."
Denial of Service
An attack that causes a computer or network to be unable to respond to requests is a denial of service (DoS). DDoS attacks originate from a computer network and do the same thing as DoS attacks. DoS attacks are commonly carried out by cyber attackers using flood attacks. Several other techniques may be used, and some cyber attackers take advantage of the network's downtime to launch other attacks.
Man in the Middle
Man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks occur when hackers interfere with two-party transactions. According to Cisco, they can filter and steal data after interrupting the traffic. Public Wi-Fi networks that are unsecured are often the target of MITM attacks.
Phishing
An email phishing attack aims to trick the receiver into opening a fake communication and following the instructions inside, such as providing credit card information. Cisco believes the goal is to steal login credentials and credit card numbers from victims' computers.
SQL Injection
When malicious code is inserted into a SQL-based server, a Structured Query Language (SQL) injection occurs. The server releases information when it is infected. By entering the malicious code into a vulnerable search box, the malicious code can be submitted.
Password Attacks
An attacker can gain access to a wealth of information if he has the right password.
