Dark Cubed has released the D3Alert, a built-in feature that automatically alerts the appropriate teams when an internal system establishes a connection with a high-risk external device.

FREMONT, CA : Dark Cubed, the cybersecurity company that empowers small and medium-sized businesses with inexpensive, automated threat detection and blocking, has announced the release of D3Alert, a built-in feature that automatically alerts the appropriate teams when an internal system establishes a connection with a high-risk external device.

"Small and medium-sized businesses, local municipalities, and other organizations can't afford SIEMs and SOCs to monitor their network activity," noted Vince Crisler, Dark Cubed CEO. "Intelligent automation is the only way to bring cybersecurity to this underserved community, and D3Alert "¢ is the next tool in Dark Cubed's ever-expanding toolbox that gives the SMB community a fighting chance against the onslaught of cyberattacks."

Dark Cubed's automated threat detection and blocking solution were developed from scratch by prioritizing the requirements and budget constraints - of SMB businesses. Dark Cubed grades the risk of any computer connecting to the network using dozens of threat feeds, its proprietary predictive analytics, and its patented community analytics. It can automatically block the most significant risk IPs, possibly the source of a possible threat or other nefarious behavior. With D3Alert security or IT teams and managed service providers (MSPs), they will be able to determine which internal system is connected to a malicious external IP, allowing them to detect the location of a possible intrusion, avoid it, and expedite remediation.

"Nearly all cyberattack techniques require communication between compromised devices on the network and the external device from which the attack is launched and controlled," added Juan Vela, Dark Cubed's CTO. "This automated alerting functionality can help markedly reduce the time between a breach and its discovery, without the need for labor-intensive network monitoring, a luxury the SMB community can't afford."
