Enterprise Security Magazine | Friday, April 09, 2021

The C-cure expert team strengthens the European cybersecurity firm Nixu in the fragmented Danish cybersecurity market.

FREMONT, CA: C-cure, the oldest technology-based and independent advisor in cybersecurity in Denmark, focuses on cybersecurity solutions and technical GDPR compliance, and it has deep experience in holistic and impartial security consulting and help.

Nixu's strategic vision is to become the first choice as a trusted cybersecurity partner of digitalization for firms headquartered in Northern Europe and the best place to work for cybersecurity professionals. To offer its clients a holistic portfolio of cybersecurity services, Nixu focuses on developing a strong market presence in Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, and Denmark and constantly explores opportunities to widen into new markets in Northern Europe.

Nixu entered the Danish market by acquiring Ezenta A/S, focused on technology-powered cybersecurity services. The C-cure team will create several additions to Nixu's and C-cure's present and future clients. C-cure's services will strengthen Nixu's expertise in Endpoint Protection and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) in Denmark. By coupling the potentials, Nixu will increasingly be able to meet clients' demands in the Danish market and couple the complementing security services and the potential to develop and help IT security infrastructure for its enterprise clients.

C-cure's commitment to Nixu is a step towards continued growth. Simultaneously, the company offers solid knowledge and unique services and helps strengthen cybersecurity awareness among both the clients and the market. By joining forces and with the wide range of cybersecurity services, the firms can lift the heavyweight off the clients' shoulders.

Nixu, established in 1988, has grown fast, particularly during the last five-year period, and is now one of the largest cybersecurity services firms in Europe. In 2020, Nixu reported MEUR 53.3 in revenue, and the firm employs about 400 experts that serve customers worldwide. The C-cure experts change to Nixu as so-called workers, and Nixu is not acquiring assets of C-cure. The C-cure team's size is small compared to Nixu, and the arrangement will not alter Nixu's financial forecast.
