BlackCloak, Inc. has appointed Daniel Floyd as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Christine Schaefer as the Head of Sales & Marketing.
FREMONT, CA: BlackCloak, Inc.,provider of Concierge Cybersecurity for executives, high-profile, and high-net-worth individuals, has announced that Daniel Floyd has been appointed in the company as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Christine Schaefer has been offered the role inthe executive leadership team as Head of Sales & Marketing.
The company's first CISO, Daniel Floyd, has been given the responsibility of the security and infrastructure of BlackCloak. He will also supervise the Security Operations Center, Threat Intelligence Platform, and Penetration Testing & Forensics Teams. Furthermore, Floyd will even provide valuable subject matter expertise to the product team, advising and innovating on the product vision. He will run the Security Operations Center with over the horizon capabilities.

Floyd has almost 20 years of experience in FinTech organizations, and he has developed and delivered security solutions for budding start-ups and highly restricted financial sector companies. He also has experience of working across business lines to provide secure technology products to the market. Moreover, he even formerly served as the Chief Information Security Officer for LSQ, which is one of the largest independent invoice financing providers.
Christine G.D. Schaefer will lead the sales & marketing team at BlackCloak. It will give a unique balance of being data-driven, creative, and people-centric. Christine also has over two decades of in-depth knowledge about managing go-to-market efforts for the tech companies, which includes marketing, sales, product management, customer education, and operations.
Previously she served as the Chief Marketing Officer for ThreatConnect, where she contributed to the remarkable growth of the well-respected threat intelligence and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platform provider. Prior to that, she served as the VP of Product, Marketing, and Learning for Salsa Labs, which is a VC-backed emerging SaaS company.
