FREMONT, CA: BehavioSec, a technology pioneer in behavioral biometrics and continuous authentication, recently announced changes to its Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, nominating Alberto Yepez as Chairman of the Board and John McCormack as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). These improvements will help the business extend its abilities to help protect customers, provide a better customer experience, and turn today's remote and mobile workforce digitally.

ForgePoint Capital, the co-founder and managing director, Alberto Yepez, is one of the founders of the cybersecurity industry (founded in 1995 in eCommerce) and brings experience as a serial entrepreneur of public companies, member of the board, and venture capital investor. As one of the prominent investors in cybersecurity and his business building expertise, he is widely known. Yepez is on the boards of several high-tech companies and joined the Board of Directors of BehavioSec in 2018 before being elected as the Chairman.

"BehavioSec is one of the pioneers in behavioral biometrics and supervised machine learning to enable continuous authentication for digital transformation programs," said Yepez. "It is a privilege to work closely with the team of entrepreneurs protecting millions of user identities for some of the worlds most sophisticated financial institutions, telecommunications service providers, online retailers and national ID programs. After all, greater cybersecurity will ensure economic prosperity and protect individual privacy."

As CFO, John McCormack, representing BehavioSec, brings years of experience in global high technology environments as a CFO, Executive Vice President, and Operations Executive. McCormacks' fields of expertise include financial management, strategic planning and implementation, mergers and integrations, management of the supply chain, business processes, information technology, and more. Most recently, McCormack worked as 4iQ CFO and at BishopFox as Consulting CFO. He will strengthen the leadership team of CEO Neil Costigans with responsibility for handling the business's finances while providing critical insights into the company's market position, including helping the company through potential financing.

"As Chief Financial Officer my role is to help the company accelerate in today's marketplace," said McCormack. "BehavioSec offers me a unique and exciting opportunity to work with an established startup whose services play a significant role in the future of the industry and authentication."
