Security teams have recently developed a solution in the user authentication process using the sixth generation of processors known as Core vPro processor that employs enhanced hardware authentication methods, which are needed when it comes to securing IoT devices.
User-behaviour Analytics
By tracking, collecting, and assessing user data, normal activities that are specific to the organization and its individual users can be determined. Applying user behavior analytics widely on a large scale for finding malicious activity can give an organization the ability to identify malware or other potential cybersecurity threats. UBA system analyses various types of collected data from past and current activity to compare the unusual behavior. Updating data periodically takes place for the changes made, including promotions. It works such that UBA systems do not report all anomalous behaviors, instead, they evaluate the behavior’s potential impact based on the sensitivity of data. Machine learning allows UBA systems to reduce false positives while providing more precise and more accurate insights into risk activities.
