THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING

Michele Hayes, Chief Marketing OfficerKeepit is at the forefront of this transition, striking balance between data security and accessibility. The company’s purpose-built platform for SaaS data security and an independent cloud for reliable backup and recovery are the much-needed responses to counter cyberthreats. Its solutions are built to ensure data accessibility, privacy, sovereignty, and residency by adhering to GDPR’s stringent regulations.
Engineered for maximum security, the Keepit platform’s multi-level security framework features blockchain integration, cryptography, custom APIs, and service segregation to uphold the highest data protection standards.
Keepit securely stores backup copies of business-critical data in an independent, air-gapped cloud, protecting organizations against malicious attacks, natural disasters, human error, and SaaS vendor outages. Data is secured during transit using HTTPS and modern TLS encryption and integrated seamlessly via APIs for platforms like Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Google Workspace. Backup copies are encrypted with AES before storage and maintained in two active-active, physically secured data centers, ensuring high availability and resilience.
“With our intelligent backup and recovery and our prioritization of data security, clients have full control and immediate access to their data,” says Michele Hayes, Chief Marketing Officer.
Protect. Replicate. Restore.
Keepit ensures clients access to their data, in the original state, by leveraging data immutability and a fully independent cloud. This means data is undeletable and unchangeable and can always be recovered and put back in place, regardless of what has happened to the original, operational data.
Strategic partnerships with leading data centers such as Equinix and Cibicom are central to Keepit’s data protection strategy, providing built-in redundancy to enhance operational efficiency and ensure data sovereignty. Keepit operates seven separate data center regions across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific, with each region deploying two mirrored data centers. All hardware is exclusively owned and maintained by Keepit, therefore, the company operates with no sub-processors.
In the unlikely event of an incident at one data center, all data is replicated, active, and secured in a second data center within the same infrastructure for quick and easy access. Keepit adopts the 4-2-1-1 rule over the 3-2-1-1 standard to maintain four copies of data across multiple data centers instead of just three.
“We’ve designed an easy-to-use console that operates on a simple point-and-click basis, making provisioning to the data center a seamless part of onboarding. IT managers can easily handle the setup, and once data storage is configured, they can quickly start integrating and backing up data,” says Hayes. “With a drag-and-drop feature for services like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and Salesforce, data is automatically integrated and backed up.”

Easy Backup With Big Gains
Park N’ Fly, one of Keepit’s clients, chose the Keepit platform as their backup and recovery solution for Microsoft 365. The platform allowed its IT managers to focus on other tasks while running backups through a ‘set and forget it’ method, saving significant time and resources.
Another notable client is Krona in Brazil, which faced challenges with their information retention policies as existing backup solutions did not retain records for the required periods. What they needed was a unified and easily accessible platform for fast backups and efficient data management — exactly what Keepit delivers. They relied on the company for quick data accessibility and availability, which led to noteworthy improvements in information security processes. The solution provided enhanced capabilities for storing, accessing, and controlling their data, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
leadership and agility in data protection
Behind these remarkable client success stories is a leadership team that thrives on innovation, continually adapting to meet the ever-changing needs of its clients. At the core of Keepit’s dedication to security and compliance is Jakob Østergaard, the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Keepit. In the spring, Keepit welcomed Kim Larsen, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With a strong background in government investigative work and cybersecurity, Kim has become a respected thought leader, often taking the stage at industry events to share his strategies for tackling cyberattacks. Recently, Michael Amsinck joined as Chief Product Officer (CPO), further solidifying Keepit’s drive to stay ahead of industry demands. The company’s commitment to growth doesn’t stop at leadership. It has been expanding its leadership ranks to enhance collaboration across all departments.
Backed by such an extensive in-house expertise, Keepit is set to expand expensively across the U.S. and the Americas, aiming to be the go-to for SaaS data protection.
This strategic growth comes in response to the growing urgency of data protection as cyberthreats escalate and technologies like AI and machine learning evolve, making data security a fundamental pillar of business continuity. It is apt to say Keepit is leading the charge in data protection, empowering businesses to stay protected while future-proofing their data against the evolving risks of tomorrow.
