Today, owing to unparalleled IAM governance offered by ID North, the company has ignited several success stories with its clients. In one instance, ID North assisted Swedish Pensions Agency—a firm that administers and pays national pensions, handling pension transactions worth 3000 million U.S. dollars per year—take full control of all identities and system accesses. The client wanted to implement a comprehensive IAM platform that visualises and analyses their extensive IAM processes and automate key identity lifecycle functions such as approval, recertification, joiner, mover, leaver processes. To aid them in achieving this, ID North designed and implemented SailPoint’s IdentityIQ by integrating and structuring the customer’s application portfolio. Because of this partnership, the agency gained detailed insight into the existing identity and access framework of all their business-critical applications, and enhanced risk mitigation processes by cleaning discrepancies and inappropriate accesses from their systems. Since then, the customer has undergone several audits without a remark. “We also aided the client in achieving enhanced efficiency with re-certification digitalisation, thereby reducing the end-to-end timeline from three months to two weeks,” states Björkman.

This year, ID North signed a partnership with Okta—a renowned IAM company—to bolster their portfolio and is currently training its consultants on the Okta’s IAM products. Additionally, the company also launched “governance-as-a-service,” which is a managed service based on SailPoint’s products offered via a subscription-based model to minimize upfront costs and save time for companies in implementing governance and ensuring compliance. “Looking ahead, we aim to become the market leaders in access management the same way we are in identity governance, by capitalising the current gap in the marketplace,” concludes Björkman.
