Although interpersonal interaction was drastically reduced, an organization's use of existing or new technologies--backed by a digital architecture--greatly aided communications and the completion of critical activities. That said, setbacks associated with COVID-19 have been normalized, and yet, the enterprise world is reluctant to embrace the new hybrid working modalities, though more than half of all online traffic currently originates from mobile devices. In the meantime, people are necessitated to confirm their identity in order to participate in social, labour, professional, political, economic, and cultural lives. More importantly, new digital identity solutions are being adopted by financial institutions, governments, travel agencies, and healthcare organizations to better validate a person. Verifying a customer's digital identification is especially vital for financial transactions in the banking sector. Physical documentation and face-to-face meetings are no longer mandatory, owing to their investments in safe authentication technologies and KYC processes. However, banks must improve their digital validation products without jeopardizing user security. Moreover, the use of digital identification solutions by a wide range of industries mandates the development of a variety of verification technologies that are both simple and safe while also improving the customer experience. Our editorial board at Enterprise Security Magazine APAC has analyzed the most popular trends of the year to assist industry leaders in manoeuvring in the right direction when adopting Digital Identity Technologies. We have filtered out the companies that genuinely set themselves a league apart and strive to not only outperform the rest of the pack but also solve pressing challenges prevailing in the industry. Please, let us know your thoughts.Russell Thomas Managing Editor editor@enterprisesecuritymag.com
